A few months ago I had the great pleasure of photographing an adorable family at Lake Tahoe's Sand Harbor! This family of 3 was soon going to be a family of 4 and wanted to document this time with some genuine and warm family portraits!

My session with them was perfect, everything was relaxed and fun! Ken and Angie's little guy was such a cutie and had me laughing and chasing after him! I've found the key to great kid portraits is not worrying about posing them or getting them to smile just get down on their level and PLAYING! Kids love it when grownups really play with them, be silly and laugh!

And Proof that Reno is the "Biggest Little City" I found out that my Husband's Aunt was one of Angie's Middle School teachers! I had a blast hanging out with such a loving family and congratulations to them on their new baby girl which Angie had not long after our session!
