Mark-Pure Fun

This is my good friend Mark, he is funny and smart...and sometimes reminds me of Eeyore...Photobucket
Although Eeyore can be a little "ho-hum" he has a certain kind of charm about him...much like Mark!
Mark and I used to share a common bond, this bond was made up of themes, ideas, social commentaries, composition and words. you see, in another life I was going to be a writer, its what I went to college for! I didn't really want to teach writing, I wanted to DO the writing, like the greats before me (Austin, Wilde, Frost)! I was never very good at the technical aspect of writing though...and that's where Mark came in. He was always willing to read my work, proof it for me and offer constructive criticism! Mark was essentially a proofreading ninja! But before long a new passion found its way into my life, photography. I think I broke Mark's heart a little by forgoing writing to take pictures! And although I still love writing or I suppose the correct term is "Blogging", my heart's desire is not to make up stories with words but rather tell stories with pictures!
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Mark, these pictures show you just a snippet of who Mark is (Funny, smart and slightly Eeyore-ish)! Mark was nervous the day of the shoot and was unsure of himself...but I promised to deliver and since I no longer supplied him with rough drafts to proof I really wanted to provide some awesome pictures! In an effort to put Mark at ease I brought along my husband who has been friends with Mark since high school. My hubby was a handy resource and he did his job of getting Mark to laugh and open up, very well! I had the best time hanging out with both of them that day, there wasn't only a lot of pictures being taken but also a lot of laughing and story telling!
